Since its launch in 2024, Victoria’s Queens Basketball Foundation has made remarkable strides in empowering young girls through basketball and creating opportunities for personal and athletic development. Here’s a detailed overview of our achievements:
Basketball Clinics
We organized a basketball clinic that brought together over 100 young girls from across Southwest Nigeria.
These clinics provided participants with essential basketball training, life skills development, and a supportive environment to build self-confidence and teamwork.
Participation in the WESIE League 2024
Victoria’s Queens Basketball Foundation proudly marked its first appearance in the prestigious WESIE League, one of the most competitive platforms for female basketball teams nationwide. Competing against 36 talented teams at the state level, our relentless determination and hard work propelled us through the rounds, culminating in an extraordinary achievement: we emerged as the champions of the WESIE League 2024!
This incredible victory underscores our unwavering commitment to nurturing talent, fostering growth, and promoting inclusivity in sports for young girls. We are excited to build on this success and aim for even greater milestones in the future. Together, we continue to inspire and empower the next generation of female athletes!
